If you’ve ever taken a road trip, you’re probably well acquainted with the euphoric decompression of stepping out of your car and into the relative spaciousness of a hotel room. But what if you’ve been touring by Bentley? Would you be quite so quick to jump out? Into the right hotel room, maybe. And three branches of the St. Regis have just the suite to fit the bill.

Back in 2012, Bentley penned a partnership with Starwoods Hotels & Resorts, whose portfolio includes the eponymous flagship hotel in Manhattan and and over 50 additional locations. The collaboration would not only see Flying Spurs available to select guests at each location, but also have Bentley outfit specially appointed suites at select locations.

To date Bentley and Starwood have opened three such suites: one in New York, another in Istanbul, and a third in Dubai. Each features furniture hand-crafted by skilled craftsmen at the Bentley factory in Crewe and applies the same level of luxury and attention to detail you’d expect from riding in a Mulsanne.

Rather than try to replicate the same design at all three locations, each multi-room suite has been designed and appointed individually. The suite in New York, for example, covers 1,700 square feet of floorspace on the 15th floor and includes a smoked fiddle-back eucalyptus dining table and herringbone drapes with seatbelt detailing on the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Fifth Avenue and Central Park.

The Istanbul suite, meanwhile, features marble floors with insets reflecting a Continental’s wheels, curved veneer walls, an oversized terrace, a diamond-quilted leather sofa with dual integrated champagne bottle coolers, and a wet bar with humidor and a Naim audio system.

The latest to open this past May in Dubai’s Al Habtoor City encompasses an LED chandelier, five Breitling clocks to follow multiple time zones, a rug designed to evoke the Mulsanne’s grille, silk carpeting, fluted leather walls across over 2,000 square feet on the expansive new resort’s fourth floor.

The full details of each are too many to list in this space, but suffice it to say none of the three skimp on the luxurious accoutrements. And we won’t be surprised to see additional Bentley suites opening at other St. Regis locations. Pricing varies, but the Manhattan suite carries a price tag of $9,500 (plus tax) per night.
