Recently, Chinese startup NextEV announced that its 1,360 hp all-electric supercar has entered the testing phase. As it turns out, the car maker conducted some of its experiments on the Nurburgring.

NextEV’s upcoming, unnamed supercar was spotted doing rounds on the German circuit, followed by what appears to be a camera car and a helicopter. With the vehicle’s debut date approaching, we can assume that NextEV is simply putting together a promotional material.

It won’t need to advertise it too much though, because the model’s power figures speak for themselves. According to various reports, the model will boast over 1,000 kW (1,360 hp) and it will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3 seconds – that would make it more capable than the supercar-destroying Rimac.

However, lots of newly-founded electric car companies have promised all-electric hypercars, but until now, only a handful actually managed to deliver (Rimac being one of them). As for NextEV’s vehicle, we’ll just have to wait and see what’s it capable of.
