This classic Bavarian specimen is the 2000C, which represented the top of BMW‘s so-called ‘New Class’ range.
Despite having a styling that’s certainly divisive, the 2000C’s shape stays elegant thanks to these thin A- and C-pillars, combined with the absence of the middle B-pillar.
“It’s kind of a hybrid between the 02 and the newer coupes,” says Emin Kureghian, owner of this specific 1969 2000C Automatic. “It’s got lines from both—if you take a good look, you can see both sides of the story.”
He got the car from a charity auction, with the previous owner having it stored for the last 20 years. It’s certainly not a garage queen but it looks like it’s being taken care of and unlike its previous home, Emin is driving it regularly.
