There aren’t many cars that blend in just perfectly with the environment on the Nurburgring, but the BMW M4 GTS is one of them.

Developed on the renowned German track as a more driver-focused version of the regular M4 Coupe, the high-performance machine has been captured on video at the very same place.

The short footage reveals the M4 GTS being pushed hard and doing the usual rounds on a crowded track day, which is why it wasn’t able to use the entire 493 horsepower produced by the 3.0-liter, turbocharged, straight-six pushed to the rear axle through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

With the right driver behind the wheel and enough space to maneuver it safely, the M4 GTS becomes the fastest production BMW ever, proving that its meaner design was molded inside the wind tunnel and its revolutionary water injection system gets the job done. As for the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration, this takes just 3.8 seconds, while top speed sits at 305 km/h (190 mph).
