Every year at Germany’s Essen Motor Show, the country’s equivalent to SEMA, a tuner creates a custom police car aimed to promoting safe vehicle modification through the Tune It! Safe! organization.

This year, tuner Wolf Racing was tasked with that responsibility and rather than selecting a local sports car to modify, they instead opted for a sixth-generation Ford Mustang, which as it turns out, is Germany’s highest selling sports car.

As with every year, the car has been adorned in a local ‘Polizei’ livery that includes bright blue decals on top of the silver paint scheme. Additionally, the Mustang has been fitted with a new body kit, a set of black wheels matched to incredibly low-profile tires and height-adjustable coilovers.

A new exhaust system was also fitted while the 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8 benefits from a tune. These changes bring total power up from 415 hp to 448 hp.

Throughout the next 12 months, the Mustang will be used at various car shows across Germany to promote safe vehicle tuning.
