German tuner G-Power has a thing for converting really fast cars into missiles. The latest vehicle to undergo such a transformation is the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe.

With clean, suave lines, the Big Merc does little to reveal what lies under the hood, but the stock 585 PS (577 hp) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, 5.5-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 is more than capable of holding its own against the big boys.

Even so, if someone wants more than to keep up with certain supercars, the aftermarket specialist offers a significant power boost for the model, to 705 PS (695 hp) and 1000 Nm (737 lb-ft), culminating in a uber-luxury machine capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds in its mission to go beyond 325 km/h (202 mph).

The upgrading process is done via G-Power’s plug-and-play Bi-Tronik 5 V1 module, that is placed between the factory ECU and the engine, and offers an extra 120 PS and 100 Nm when needed (full throttle triggers it). What’s even more impressive is that the torque figure is electronically limited as a safety measure.

Moreover, to make sure the engine won’t destroy itself, the module becomes active only at prescribed oil temperatures and deactivates then the engine coolant reaches the factory permitted engine temperature.
