Volkswagen’s all-new seven-seater SUV, the Atlas, celebrates Halloween by wearing a meaner-looking costume in a pumpkin-like shade.

In X-Tomi’s vision, the top dog in the Atlas range features a blacked-out grille with the ‘R’ badge sitting on it, a larger front bumper that exchanges the fog lamps for turn signals, beefier side skirts, a redesigned rear bumper and a new set of wheels.

While the artist has given us an idea of how the new Volkswagen Atlas could look like in a potential R version, the Tennessee-made SUV is getting ready to celebrate its world premiere at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, in mid-November.

Since it’s planning on becoming a major player in the US, the Atlas enjoys an extensive equipment list that counts the digital cockpit, infotainment system, smartphone connectivity and premium audio system, along with automatic braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitor, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control systems.
