The limited Porsche 911R has to be one of the most desired cars of the year but that’s hardly a surprise.

Few cars have caused such a stir in the petrolhead community, with Porsche proving once again that they know how to please their fans.

With their current GT3 and GT3 RS models offered only with a PDK dual-clutch gearbox, Porsche created a vacuum in their fan base, leaving out a certain portion of people that wanted to stir the cogs on their own. It didn’t matter that they could never match the speed or the precision of the PDK, all it mattered was the experience of doing so.

That’s why when the news first broke that Porsche was about to release essentially a manual version of the GT3 RS in limited numbers, people went berserk over who is going to secure a build slot.

The example we have here is a brand new one, with just 58 miles on the clock and an all-white paint finish which we have to admit really like. Racing stripes are always cool, but there’s just something about that simple look that makes us go weak at the knees.

Offered for sale from Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut, this Porsche 911R comes with the price tag of $599,900. Now, we always knew that this model was going to become an instant classic but this sort of premium over the official $184,900 MSRP is a bit hard to swallow.

Especially now that we know that Porsche is going to bring back the manual gearbox option in -at least- the facelifted version of the 991 GT3. What do you think?
