Among the wide array of vehicles sold exclusively in Brazil, the Fiat Toro is perhaps one of the most intriguing.

It is a compact-sized pickup truck with rather attractive styling and the underpinnings of the Jeep Compass. But, if for some strange reason, FCA decided to ditch the Fiat Toro in favor of an Alfa Romeo pickup, could it do it successfully? Based on this rendering, it would appear not.

Theophilus Chin has taken the face of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and combined it with the body of the existing Toro. While both the Giulia and Stelvio are as sexy as the finest Italian supermodels, their familiar face looks totally out of place on a pickup.

Thankfully, we don’t expect to ever see such a model become a reality as a pickup isn’t included in the brand’s bold plan to launch nine new models by 2021. Given the brand’s track record, even its planned models may not come to fruition, or at least not when they’re supposed to…
