With more than 3,000 McLarens on the road, the British automaker wants to offer peace of mind to their owners with a warranty extension of up to 12 years.

The warranty is available for new and certified pre-owned Sports Series and Super Series models that are under 10 years old and have covered less than 100,000 miles (160,934 km).

“Owners want the reassurance that their car will still be looked after to the same standards with which it was built. And they want to continue to enjoy their McLaren without worry. Sometimes daily. It’s for them that we launched the Extended Warranty, and now with this further enhancement to the coverage period, it will continue to give complete peace of mind… right up to the car’s 12th birthday“, commented the Aftersales Director at McLaren Automotive, Carl Whipp.

The extended warranty excludes general maintenance, changing wheels, tires and batteries, repainting the car, clutch renewal due to incorrect adjustment or general wear and tear, water ingress and software upgrades, unless they are part of a recall.
