Ford Romania has decided to create a Gymkhana video in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of its local factories.

Although the Gymkhana master, aka Ken Block, wasn’t called upon for the video, the automaker did manage to land the driving skills of Simone Tempestini, a two-time Romanian rally champion. Ford then gave him the keys to a Fiesta R5 and let him go wild at the Craiova production plant.

While the Fiesta in question isn’t quite as ludicrous as Block’s, it is still a potent performer. In fact, its 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivers 290 hp and is mated to a Sadev five-speed sequential transmission. As the clip shows, the finished package is perfect for all the donuts and drifting duties of any Gymkhana video.

As a way to celebrate a birthday in automotive style, it’s hard to get much better than this, don’t you agree?
