While some car manufacturers celebrate the winter holidays by launching various Christmas-themed merchandise, Land Rover’s approach is record-worthy.

With Santa Claus’ long journey across the globe, the British brand’s engineers have considered building him a cozy cabin, which has space for two adults and can be used in the North Pole, at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius (4 degrees Fahrenheit).

However, the best thing about Land Rover’s concept is not the fact that it can bring modern accessories into the wilderness, but its versatility, as it fits entirely inside the Discovery Sport’s 1,698-liter rear load space.

Making sure it withstands the extreme cold, Land Rover turned to Everest climber Kenton Cool, who took it out to a “final secret location in the heart of the frozen wilderness“, as the company explains, and thoroughly tested it.

“There is a growing trend for off-grid living and ‘wilderness cabins’, and only Land Rover could create a ‘go anywhere’ cabin like this. The design is cleverly engineered and incredibly robust, making it perfect for remote locations across the world“, Cool said.
