With Audi retiring from endurance racing, Porsche felt the need to bid farewell to their competition on video.

In fact, it was Audi Sport that first welcomed them back to the FIA WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans three years ago on video, with Porsche now returning the favor.

Following the original video’s storyline, the driver of the Porsche diesel tractor returns to the place where the Audi R18 wrote ‘Welcome Back’ on the tarmac with its tires and starts scrubbing the tire skid marks.

The ending scene reveals a new message saying ‘Come Back’, with Porsche thanking Audi Sport for their great fights on the track.

Audi announced their retirement from endurance racing back in October, after 18 years of continuous involvement that included 106 wins out of 185 races contested and 13 first places in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
