He may be making headlines with The Grand Tour right now, and with Top Gear before that, along with his two co-hosts, but the famous (or should we say notorious?) Jeremy Clarkson was a TG host way before Richard Hammond and James May joined in.

This particular video was shot more than 25 years ago and it shows that Jezza’s sarcasm was very much there right from the start.

Yes, it’s a Ferrari, but JC can find a flaw in anything and, let’s admit it, the 348 wasn’t exactly one of Maranello’s finest moments as it had its shortcomings – which, unsurprisingly, Clarkson doesn’t mince his words about.

Thankfully, Luca di Montezemolo, who took the reigns at that time, managed to turn this around, starting with the 355. Back to that 348 review, though, and what Clarkson made of it. Did he like it or lambast it? Well, what do you think?
