We’re seen a flurry of activity surrounding the Aston Martin Valkyrie recently, and the latest report reveals the hypercar’s performance specifications.

According to Road and Track’s sources, the Valkyrie will have a combined output of approximately 1130 hp (842 kW). The car’s naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine will reportedly produce around 1000 hp (745 kW), while the remainder will come from an electric motor.

Maybe 1130 hp (842 kW) might not sound like much compared to the Bugatti Chiron, but Aston Martin has already confirmed the Valkyrie will have a power-to-weight ratio of 1:1. This means the car would weigh 2,491 lbs (1,130 kg) but the report suggests the model will be even lighter, at just 2,270 lbs (1,030 kg).

In order to keep the weight in check, the Valkyrie will have a carbon fiber MonoCell and a lightweight hybrid battery system supplied by Rimac. The report even suggests the Aston badge on the car’s nose is less than a micron thick and weighs only a few milligrams.

Production will be limited to 150 units and the company will also build an additional 25 track-only models. The latter will reportedly be equipped with a more extreme aerodynamic package, which includes a larger front splitter, a rear wing and reduced ride height.

While the Valkyrie is slated to go into production in 2019, the report suggests Aston Martin doesn’t even having a running prototype at this point. One is expected to be completed next year, and the production model could be unveiled at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
