TechArt Launches Power Kit For Porsche 991.2 Carrera GTS

If you happen to own a brand new Porsche 911 GTS and would like a bit more oomph, TechArt’s warranty-backed Techtronic power kit will make your ride a little bit quicker.

The kit can be fitted to all GTS-spec 911s, meaning the Carrera GTS, the Carrera 4 GTS and the Targa 4 GTS, all of which come with 450 PS and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque as stock.

Now, what TechArt will do is add an extra 60 PS and another 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) of torque, for a total of 510 PS and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft), resulting in improved performance.

According to TechArt, where a regular 911 GTS PDK would normally hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, their S1.1 Power Kit cuts that time by 0.3 seconds, while top speed goes up from 310 km/h (192 mph) to 318 km/h (197 mph). In other words, you’d be just shy of the 911 Turbo’s 320 km/h (198 mph), and slower to 100 km/h by just less than half a second.

Of course, if the performance increase doesn’t suffice, TechArt will also fit your 991.2 Carrera GTS with a custom body kit, new wheels plus other individual parts.
