The 2018 Acura ILX will be arriving at Acura dealerships in the U.S. on October 5th, with prices starting at $28,100 for the entry-level version.

The new Special Edition model is priced at $28,900 and features A-Spec body components, 18″ wheels, side sills, rear spoiler and unique badging.

In terms of standard equipment, it’s got LED headlights, 8-way power driver’s seat, multi-view rearview camera, auto on/off headlights, one-touch power moonroof, Bluetooth, HandsFree Link, 5″ Multi-View display, keyless smart entry with push-button start and a leather steering wheel and shift knob.

You can also get A-Spec-equipped Premium and Tech Plus versions, with sporty side sill garnishes, deck lid spoiler, front fog lights, 18″ 10-spoke alloys and A-Spec badging on the front fenders and trunk lid.

Inside, A-Spec trims add a premium black interior color scheme, with a black headliner, perforated black Lux Suede seat inserts, red instrument illumination, gray interior stitching and aluminum brake and throttle pedals.

As for the Premium and Tech Plus grades, the former features leather seats, Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitor, HD Radio and Aha, driver’s two-position memory seat, front passenger 4-way power seat, 8″ upper display, 7″ On-Demand touchscreen, HomeLink and more. Meanwhile, Tech Plus adds AcuraWatch as standard, as well as a color TFT multi-information display, AcuraLink, sat-nav with voice recognition and AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic Rerouting.

All 2018 Acura ILX models are powered by a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, mated to a sequential SportShift 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. Peak power is rated at 201 horses, with 180 lb-ft (244 Nm) of torque on the side.
