Buying a new car can be stressful but Hyundai is looking to ease the process with its new Shopper Assurance program.

Set to roll out nationwide early next year, the program seeks to streamline and modernize the car-buying experience. As the company admits, many buyers are frustrated with the current process and are looking for new ways to purchase a vehicle.

As part of the program, all Hyundai dealers in the United States will post the fair market price of vehicles – minus incentives and dealer discounts – on their websites so customers don’t have to worry about haggling to get a few hundred dollars knocked off the sticker price.

When it comes time for a test drive, customers can skip the dealership altogether thanks to the Hyundai Drive program. It allows people to schedule a test drive and then have a vehicle delivered to a location of their choosing.

Assuming you want to move forward with the process, buyers can expect a streamlined visit to the dealership as the Shopper Assurance program will allow them to complete “most of the paperwork” online. This includes everything from applying for financing to valuing potential trade-ins.

Perhaps the program’s most radical feature is the three-day money back guarantee. If customers are unhappy with their purchase, Hyundai will take the car back as long as it isn’t damaged and has less than 300 miles on it since the purchase/lease date.
