Police are still investigating a fiery crash that occurred last night in North Miami Beach, causing a Lamborghini to split in half and catch fire.

Thankfully, both of the car’s occupants suffered only minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital according to the North Miami Beach PD.

The accident took place along the westbound lanes of Northeast 167th Street and Third Court, before 2 AM last night, reports WSVN News. The sheer force with which the Italian exotic crashed was sufficient to topple a tree into the middle of the street.

Footage courtesy of CBS Miami also shows just how bad of an accident this was, with witness Pedro Huamchumo describing how he heard a loud “boom”, followed by seeing the car “on fire and in two pieces.” He then says that one of the occupants’ hands was on fire as he made his way out of the wreck.

Even though all westbound lanes on 167th Street were closed between Northeast Fifth Avenue and Miami Avenue following the accident, the roads have since reopened.
