2007 BMW M5 Touring – Official

Along with the updated 5 Series Sedan & Touring models, BMW also reveled on its public site the all-new 2007 M5 Touring which uses the same 507Hp strong 5.0-litre V10 engine as the M5 Sedan. According to BMW, the M5 Touring needs a mere 4,8 sec (M5 Sedan 4,7 sec) for the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint making if not the fastest, one of the fastest cars of its kind.

As with its sedan sibling the Touring is equipped with a 7speed SMG and an electronically controlled M-differential. The Touring also gets the typical “M” design-treatment with front and rear aprons, four sexy exhaust pipes, side air-vents, upgraded interior with bucket seats, sport trim etc.

Basically, what we have here is an M5 that promises to do all that its Sedan sibling can do with an extra dose of practicality. Oh, talking about practicality, we almost forgot to inform you that the M5 Touring’s boot capacity can expand from 500 to 1.650 liters if you slash down the pedal, err, sorry I mean the seats. Well, I think that’s a good enough argument to convince your legal-female companion that this is the ultimate family-mobile.
