Subaru’s second concept car (click here to see the Subaru Exiga) for the Tokyo Show is the G4e, an environment-friendly electric mini (EV). In case you’re wondering, G4e stands for “Green for the earth”. The 3,985 mm long G4e features a newly developed high-performance next-generation lithium-ion battery that offers more than double the range of Subie’s current EV, the R1e. According to the Japanese carmaker, the battery can be fully charged in less than 8 hours, allowing the G4e to travel a distance of around 200 km – 124 miles. Despite being a compact EV, Subaru supports that the G4e boasts a roomy interior that can seat five people.
