According to a new survey conducted by Motorpoint, a UK car supermarket group, more than two-thirds of British car buyers (an estimated 20 million) say that they will be downsizing with their next purchase. The reason given for the shift by respondents to the Motorpoint survey is to save on running costs that include fuel consumption, emission related road taxes and the slower depreciation of smaller cars which will improve even further as demand increases. -Continued
