Legendary racing car manufacturer and Formula One team Brabham has been brought back from the dead after being inactive for nearly sixteen years when the company that was founded in 1960 by two Australians, F1 driver Jack Brabham and designer Ron Tauranac, collapsed financially in 1992. For its relaunch, Brabham Racing will lift the covers off three new tricked-out BMWs at the forthcoming Essen Motor Show in Germany that runs 29 November to 7 December.

The BMW models that will be presented in Essen are the BRABHAM BT 92 based on the M3, the BRABHAM BT 60 based on the M5 and the BT 70 which is a supposedly sportier interpretation of the SUV X6. The resurrected racing firm has not revealed any specific details or photos other than the photoshoped rendering of the M3-based proposal that you see pictured above.
