The Nissan NV2500 is a new concept van that will make its global premiere in early January at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Billed as one of the largest concept vehicles ever to be built by Nissan, the NV2500 will act as a teaser for the Japanese automaker’s entry into the North American Commercial Vehicle (CV) market in 2010. Needless to say, we don’t expect the production model to look as near as cool as the Detroit Show concept. The NV2500 will be followed by two more commercial vehicles of the same sort, all of which will be built at Nissan’s manufacturing plant in Canton, Miss. The facility will serve as the hub for the company’s commercial vehicle operations in North America.
