If you didn’t fancy VW’s official promotional video of the new Golf GTI that much, here’s an independent film that was (apparently) shot during the media presentation of the car in St. Tropez in France. Word of advice to the producers of the video; while we have no problem with the music overlay in the beginning of the film, we would have preferred to hear the sound of the GTI’s 2.0-liter turbocharged engine unadulterated during the test drive.
