Land Rover’s newly revealed baby Range Rover model, the Evoque, will also be offered in a more practical five-door body style as these latest spy photos confirm. Last month, the British firm pulled the wraps off the three-door Evoque, which will arrive in European showrooms next summer with North America and other regions to follow in the fall of the same year. The five door version pictured here testing at the Nurburgring, will most likely go on sale in the first half of 2012.
At present, technical details remain sketchy about the Evoque, but Land Rover has confirmed that its smallest Range Rover model ever will be offered in both front- and all-wheel drive configurations, with the 2WD model emitting less than 130g/km of CO2. For the record, the test car seen here is registered in the UK with a 2.0-liter petrol engine.
We’ll have more info on Land Rover’s new crossover model at next month’s Paris Motor Show.
