Toyota Shows New Yundong Shuangqing Hybrid Sedan Concept in Beijing

In addition to the Dear Qin compact hatchback and sedan concepts that we told you about earlier today, Toyota also debuted a third study called the Yundong Shuangqing at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing. The Japanese brand’s concept is a sharply styled four-door sedan that features a newly developed hybrid system, which was primarily developed at Toyota’s R&D facility in China. Toyota did not elaborate further on the Yundong Shuangqing’s driveline. At a press conference during the Beijing show, Toyota President Akio Toyoda said: “We would like to put smiles on the faces of our Chinese customers with hybrid technology. I want the people of China to be able to experience the beauty of hybrid technology through a hybrid car born in China”.
