Nine years is a long time to stay in the market with the same model but Renault does not seem ready to replace its Espace full-size minivan yet, the fourth generation of which has been with us since 2003.

Instead, the French carmaker is polishing up the Espace with another subtle facelift, some two years after it refreshed MPV’s exterior styling and engine range.

The 2013 Espace, which was teased today in these two pictures, adopts Renault’s latest front grille design with a larger logo set in a more upright position along with revised headlamp fixtures and a newly designed front bumper.

One of the images also suggests that there may be some changes at the back, mainly the tail light graphics and possibly the bumper as well.

Renault said it will fully reveal the 2013 Espace in the beginning of July.
