Ford continues the roll out of the 2013 model year F-150 with the launch of a new luxed-up Limited Edition trim that will go on sale in the States this fall exclusively in a SuperCrew four-door cab configuration.

The Blue Oval states that the new Limited Edition model “signifies the highest levels of design refinement, luxury and technology” ever applied to the F-150.

The special treatment begins with the exterior that gains unique 22-inch polished aluminum wheels and center caps, HID headlamps, and body-color front and rear bumpers, front bumper valance, sideview mirror caps, wheel-lip molding, upper fascia and grille surround.

Other features on the outside include the chrome mesh front grille, the single tip of the tuned exhaust and the tow hooks on 4×4 variant plus “LIMITED” lettering accents on the box sides.

There’s a choice of three exterior colors named, Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Tuxedo Black Metallic and White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat.

The F-150 Limited’s interior is dressed in red and black full-grain leather that covers the seats, instrument panel cowl, steering wheel and door panels, while aluminum trims the center panel and console.

You will also find heated and cooled seats, ambient lighting with five accent colors, a moonroof, rear view camera, Sync with MyFord Touch and navigation on a centrally mounted 8-inch LCD screen, and PowerFold side mirrors.

The F-150 Limited is powered exclusively by Ford’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers 365 horsepower at 5,000 rpm on regular fuel and returns 22 mpg highway on the 4×2 model.

The Blue Oval has also fitted sports-tuned dampers to the front and rear suspensions.
