Almost three years after launch, Citroën has given its second-generation C3 supermini a lite makeover.

Sources claim that these pictures were released by Citroën Brazil, but we wouldn’t be surprised if most styling tweaks pass on to the European model, which could debut as early as the Paris Motor Show in September.

The facelift is a subtle one and mostly concentrated up front where you will spot the new front grille that encompasses the double-chevron logo, a redesigned bumper with a reshaped lower grille and LED daytime running lights.

Inside, the dashboard has been updated with circular air vents and possibly new trims.

The Brazilian market model will go on sale in August available with a pair of flex-fuel engines, including a 1.5-liter unit producing 93hp and 140Nm and a 1.6-liter variant rated at 122-horsepower and 161 Nm of torque (all figures with ethanol).
