Audi S7 Sportback Tweaked by ABT Sportsline, gets at Least 513-Horses

German tuning house ABT Sportsline believes that the new Audi S7 Sportback can do with some polishing up on both the styling and performance departments. The most capable model of the A7 series, which was revealed last fall, is powered by a new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged TFSI V8 engine that generates 414hp (420PS) and 550 Nm (405.7 lb-ft). ABT says that it is still working on the engine upgrades but it can reveal that the AS7, which is the name it has given to the modified S7, will have at least 513hp (520PS) and 650Nm (479 lb-ft) allowing the sports model to top out at 290km/h (180mph). “Our AS7 is powerful, torquey, but also easily controllable”, says Hans-Jürgen ABT, founder and CEO of the company. The only other updates done to the car is a set of sport springs and a choice of two alloy wheel designs in sizes 20- or 21-inches. ABT said it will release more details on the AS7 in the coming months. Story References: ABT via Worldcarfans
