Poltrona Frau, the Italian company renowned for its finely crafted leather interiors, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
To commemorate the event, Poltrona Frau teamed up with Lancia, with which it has cooperated since the early 1920s, to create a special edition version of the Flavia.
This is the second consecutive year that Lancia is the Venice Film Festival’s main sponsor. It was therefore the perfect opportunity for the Flavia Red Carpet Edition to hit the…red carpet at this year’s event accompanying celebrities and movie stars to the Venice Lido.
To the interest of no one, Lancia notes that the Flavia Red Carpet is the first convertible model ever to be employed in this role.
The special edition is distinguished by the red Pelle Frau Pieno Fiore leather that covers its seats and armrests, and the white-colored bodywork.
In the Italian market, the Flavia is available with a 170HP 2.4-liter petrol engine that powers the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
