Renowned BMW tuner G-Power has presented its take on the youngest and smallest member of the M family, the 1-Series M Coupe.

At the core of the upgrade package is a comprehensive tune of the 1M Coupe’s 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six.

The German firm’s engineers raise the pulse of the force-fed powerplant with an elaborate kit that includes reprogrammed software, flow optimized downpipes, enlarged capacity for the boost cooling system and a lightweight custom exhaust system made from titanium that shaves 20kg (44 pounds) over the stock exhaust.

All these modifications lift output from 335hp (340PS) and 450Nm or 500Nm (369 lb-ft) with overboost, to 429hp (435PS) and 590Nm (435 lb-ft).

With this newly found power the 1-Series M Coupe by G-Power zips from 0-100km/h (62mph) in 4.5 seconds and climbs to a top speed of 300km/h (186mph).

G-Power fits the BMW coupe with a height-adjustable G coil-over suspension featuring nine selectable settings each for bound and rebound, and a high-performance braking system with six-piston calipers and 396mm discs.

The car now rides on G-Power’s own 20-inch Silverstone wheels shod in Michelin tires size 255/30 ZR 20 at the front and 295/25 ZR 20 at the rear axle, while G-Power also offers a contrasting decal kit.
