If you only watch the first few seconds of this dash-cam video, you are probably going to think that this accident did not end at all well for the BMW biker, as it looks like he got caught under the vehicle – which, judging from its height and the absence of a visible hood, appears to be a truck.
Try to hang in for a few more seconds and you will be pleasantly surprised to find out that the motorcyclist made it out alive and without any serious injuries.
We cannot be sure from this viewing angle, but there is a good possibility that the rider was somehow able to grasp on the vehicle’s bumper and avoid being run over as he is seen in the footage getting up from the front end of the truck.
The fact that he was wearing full gear from top to bottom certainly played a part in dodging some injuries.
