As the great Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown once put it, “Once this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re going to see some serious s*it.”

Sadly, time-travel has yet to be invented, but that’s not the only problem with this New York City taxicab that’s based on the DeLorean featured in the Back to the Future trilogy.

You see, the car doesn’t exist, yet, as it is the imaginative work of designer Mike Lubrano who doctored these photos of a yellow DeLorean taxi to advertise Nooka, a New York-based fashion brand that specializes on wristwatches – see the connection now?

On his website, Lubrano states that the Nooka has a “futuristic philosophy” and that to communicate this, “DeLorean cars, which have come to symbolize the future, are transformed into fully-working NYC Cabs“.

Nooka buzz aside, we think that Lubrano might actually have a very good idea here…
