Someone put a leash on Mansory, which continues to announce new models for the 83rd Geneva motor show. After the Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado, the Garia Mansory Currus, the Ferrari F12berlinetta Stallone and the Bentley Continental GT Sanguis, Mansory has released the Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet Speranza. And yes, we’re thinking the same thing as you right now; who comes up with these names?

For the three-door version of Merc’s rugged SUV, Mansory’s comprehensive makeover includes the following bits: carbon fibre wheel arches that extend the 4×4’s width by 20mm with matching front and rear bumpers, the front incorporating LED daytime running lights; new grille and headlamp covers; carbon fiber hood and mirror caps; custom wheel cover and a burgundy color soft top.

The G500 Speranza rides on a new set of flashy alloy wheels size 24 inches in ultra-high-performance 305/35 Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tires.

Inside, Mansory’s upholsterers dressed the entire cabin in a mix of regular and quilted leather in black and white shades with red piping and accent stitches, and red carbon fibre trims.

There’s more to the Speranza than meets the eye as Mansory also made plenty of performance upgrades under the hood. As a result, the 5.4-liter V8 engine now delivers a hefty 691HP (700PS) and a restricted peak torque figure of 900Nm (664 lb-ft), up from the stock model’s 380HP (385PS) and 530Nm (391 lb-ft).
