Take a Close Look at Lamborghini's Ultra-Exclusive Veneno Through 74 Photos and a Video

As you have probably heard/read by now, Lamborghini is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and, apart from the various events it has organized, the Italian company decided to give itself, and its fans, a present.

This “present” is the Italian Batmobile Veneno – an outrageously styled, 750HP supercar with an exorbitant price of €3 million (US$3.9 million). No need to reach for your wallet, though, because all three examples that will be manufactured have already been sold.

Truth be told, when Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann announced the company’s plans to unveil a “special” model that would “shock and reward” in Geneva, we weren’t expecting a wide-body Aventador with a mild hike in power that could very well star in the next installment of the Dark Knight.

Even so, it’s hard to argue with a 0-100 (0-62 mph) sprint of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 355 km/h (221 mph). Perhaps Winkelmann was right after all: the Veneno both shocks (observers) and rewards (Lamborghini’s coffers)…

You can check out the new Lambo in detail from the Geneva Motor Show in the video and a huge high-resolution picture gallery that follow right after the jump.
