It’s only a matter of days before Hyundai blows the covers off the North American market version of the subtly revised 2014 Equus sedan at the New York Auto Show, and even though we’ve seen what the Korean domestic market (KDM) model looks like, the company’s engineers continue to drive around camouflaged prototypes here in the U.S.

One such test car was captured on camera by Carscoops reader Sammy, who sent in these pictures of the 2014 Equus.

Once the camouflage comes off, you will have to pay close attention to the front and rear ends to distinguish the refreshed Equus from the 2013 model on the outside.

Inside, if the KDM model is anything to go by (and it should, since we expect the upgrades to be identical between the two), you’ll find a new digital instrument cluster and redesigned center and lower consoles, among other changes.

Thanks to Sammy E. for the scoop shots!
