Nissan has released more details on the 2014 model year 370Z Nismo that comes with new exterior and interior accents, and which will go on sale this summer at Nissan dealers throughout the U.S. We’ll remind you that Nissan had revealed the 2014MY 370Z Nismo at the Chicago Auto Show this past February.

Aesthetically, the updated model gains dark gray coloring for the front and rear aprons, lower side sills, side mirrors and rear spoiler, with each of these elements (sans the side sills) now featuring red pinstripe accents. Furthermore, a new Solid Red paint finish replaces the previous Magma Red as one of four available exterior color choices for the 370Z Nismo.

On the inside, Nissan added a new steering wheel with Alcantara appointments and red accents, plus a red Nismo tachometer.

Other than that, it’s the same 370Z Nismo we’ve come to know and which sports an uprated version of the regular 370Z’s 3.7-liter V6 engine producing 350hp and 276 lb-ft (374 Nm) of torque, paired to a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox with Nissan’s syncronized downshift rev matching system, which automatically controls and adjusts engine speed when shifting gears.

The hotter flavored 370Z also comes with a tuned suspension, 19-inch Rays forged aluminum-alloy and Nismo Sport Brakes with 14-inch front and 13.8-inch rear vented rotors with 4-piston front and 2-piston rear aluminum calipers.
