Given Carscoops’ readers sentiments on the design of the new generation 2014 Jeep Cherokee, as strongly expressed in the comments sections our inaugural posts about the car here and here, it’s not hard to imagine what some of the answers may be to the question posed in our title.

But seriously now, if you were to block the images of the Cherokee from your thoughts, what do you think Jeep is doing with this prototype in full camouflage, which was nabbed this week by Carscoops’ reader Stephen D. as he was driving to his work in Hollywood, California?

While you think about it, let us remind you that Jeep recently delayed the beginning of series production of the new Cherokee by a month due to “a wide range of issues”, with the plan now being to start in late June.

When it reaches dealerships later this year, the 2014 Cherokee will offer buyers a selection of two powerplants, including a 184hp 2.4-liter MultiAir four-cylinder unit, and a 271hp 3.2-liter Pentastar V6, both paired to a new nine-speed automatic transmission.

Many thanks to Stephen D. for the scoop shots!
