Mansory G-Couture Spotted in London – It’s a Carbon-Clad Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen

If a car reflects its owner, then I’m really curious to see who drives this Mansory G-Couture. I’m guessing it’s somebody who was wowed by the fact that they are making only seven of them (exclusivity does sell), and wouldn’t you know it, this one is registered in Abu Dhabi, in all its carbon-clad glory.

I think it’s ghastly, and would rather drive a standard G270 CDI instead of this, however it does attract a lot of looks – it caught Shmee150’s eye, did it not? He was more reserved in judging it, than I am, as he centers the shot on himself towards the end of his video.

So what is the G-Couture? Well, its party piece is the half-carbon fiber construction of the body, or in their own words, the “entire exterior, up to the lower window edge and the roof of the SUV, are made of high-strength, ultra-light carbon.” This gives it a unique look, to say the least…

For me, this is a vehicle that should not have been modified in this way, even if the quality is as high as they say it is, but for its owner it’s just his or her flashy ride home.
