The Alfa Romeo 4C has yet to arrive in dealerships, but Pogea Racing has already presented the first tune for the mid-engined Italian sports car. The tuning program of the Friedrichshafen-based German company has as highlights an engine upgrade that lifts output to 415 horsepower, an aerodynamic kit that reduces lift and massive 19- and 20-inch wheels.

Pogea also throws in sporty suspension components and interior accessories made of materials such as leather, aluminum and carbon fiber. The aero kit gives the Alfa 4C a more striking appearance thanks to the carbon fiber body parts for the front, side and rear. These elements also help reduce the lift forces, thus increasing high-speed driving stability.

The addition of these parts makes sense, as Pogea Racing plans to significantly boost the power of the four-cylinder engine from 240 horsepower to around 415 hp and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

“To achieve this, various engine modifications are necessary: new turbochargers, tubular exhaust manifold and an exhaust system with valve control will replace the serial components. In addition, we optimise the fuel supply and the cooling system,” explains company founder Eduard Pogea.

Pogea Racing also offers 19- and 20-inch XCUT rims developed with KW Automotive plus DCC and Clubsport suspension kits that promise to make driving dynamics even sportier. For those who want their Alfa Romeo 4C to be really exclusive, the aftermarket company offers everything from customized floor mats to complete leather interiors.

Too bad they didn’t think of anything for the headlights…
