Arden Shows New 2014 Range Rover AR9 and First Upgrades for Jaguar F-Type

If you never understood the rationale behind buying an expensive SUV that’s built to be capable off-the-road only to spend a boatload more money to….wipe away its off-road capabilities and turn it into something that closely resembles a performance estate, then you may as well skip this post altogether because that’s precisely what Arden is proposing for the latest Range Rover model. The German tuner’s newly released AR9 package for the 2013/2014 Range Rover begins with a suspension module that lowers the ride height and continues with a wide body kit comprising of front and rear fender extensions with matching aprons on both ends and side skirts. A rear diffuser that creates space for the four outlets of the sports exhaust system and a new set of 22-inch wheels available in a choice of shades and wrapped in very low – and completely inappropriate for off-roading – performance tires complete the Arden look. Other offerings from Arden include standalone bits such as chrome trims for the profile and bumpers, an assortment of alloy wheels and ECU upgrades for most engines. In our tour of the German tuner’s site, we also found a picture of the new Jaguar F-Type roadster fitted with Arden’s own alloy rims and the classic leaping cat figure on the tip of the front bumper. Arden said it is currently working on a full package for the two-seater Jag.
