Holden's New HSV Gen-F GTS Gets Inspirational Promo

The Holden Commodore-based HSV Gen-F GTS is “the greatest performance production car ever built in Australia,” according to GM. Basically, it’s the same car as Chevrolet’s sporty SS sedan featuring modern and aggressive styling, lots of go-faster bits both inside and out, as well as highly-visible contrasting calipers, finished in a striking shade of lime green.

The manufacturer says it’s also more sophisticated than ever before, and has a better-than-ever interior, and in range-topping GTS trim, it comes packed with pretty much anything you’d care to think of in terms of equipment. The top-spec GTS gains a unique HSV Performance body kit and black accenting on some of the exterior pieces.

Now, this 576 hp bruiser comes with a very inspirational ad that talks a lot more about the sorry state of the entire world, and then tries to correlate it with the car, at the end…

Granted, it’s a nice ad, and far better than some copycat examples we’ve seen recently. It also reminds the Australian car buying public to keep buying locally made products because no manufacturer is safe from being made redundant, no matter how long a history they may have… Holden is said to be safe, for now, at least.
