Only hours after our spies piqued our curiosity with a boatload of far-away shots from the filming set of Transformers 4 at the GM Proving Ground facility in Michigan, and which included the new Bumblebee, Michael Bay did it again and dropped an official photo of the car.

Bay had previously showed us a 1967 Camaro-based Bumblebee, and from what we gather, that car will likely be used as an entry in the film before the so-called 2014 Concept Camaro Bumblebee steps in to take the first role.

Just as there’s no question that GM will use the placement of the Camaro in the movie to launch a Transformers edition of the car onto the market (as it did with the previous films), there’s also no doubt that it will look different than this concept that comes with a newly designed face, different than the one we saw on the facelifted model.

Other bespoke parts found on the car include the ground effects kit, much wider rear fenders with air inlets, a fuel cap positioned on the rear quarter window and almost flush door handles.
