Watch the New Lexus RC F Coupe on the Nürburgring – Is That a V8 we Hear?

Earlier today, we learned that the upcoming Lexus RC, or for the uninitiated, the coupe version of the new IS Sedan previewed by the LF CC concept car just last year, will debut in production trim this November in Tokyo, and will be followed shortly after by an “F” badged high performance variant at the Detroit show in January.

We’ve already shown you scoop pictures of the RC F throughout the week and now, we’re ready to share the very first video of the prototype model testing on and around the famed Nürburgring track, captured by our spy partners.

Lexus insiders hinted at the use of a 460-horsepower V8 while talking to Automotive News, and the sounds produced by this test car seem to confirm this – the number of the cylinders, not the output, of course. What do you think?
