A design studio from Kyrgyzstan, a former Soviet Republic, has built a replica of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento from scrap metal. Using the chassis of a 1982 Volvo, the wheels from a BMW X5 and parts of other cars made of plastic, carbon steel and acrylic glass, the crew from the “New Format” studio managed to craft a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento look-alike.

According to the studio’s art director, the car took three months to build, using as guidelines design drafts he found online. Obviously, he couldn’t replicate the Lamborghini’s sophisticated parts so he used random components that he did his best to fit on to the clone, which is the exact same size as the real model.

As you can see from the videos posted below, the result is not bad considering what they had to work with. The car can’t move by itself and is placed on a trailer, so most likely it lacks an engine, since we see two people easily lift and move the trailer.

Agreed; it is a bit rough around the edges – notice the tyres that don’t fit entirely under the arches – but I think this may as well be the best Sesto Elemento replica out there (not being aware of another one surely helps their case too…).
