Porsche has never hidden the fact it tries to engineer and design its sports cars not only to be fast and rewarding behind the wheel, but also useable on an everyday basis – a couple of years ago, it even released a campaign dubbed “Porsche Everyday” with a series of commercials and a dedicated website to promote precisely those qualities.

True, marketing ploys can sometimes be one thing and reality may well be another, but like the old Chinese proverb says, “One picture is worth a thousand words.”

In this case, Autogespot forum member Yannick-m proves Porsche’s point with a set of pictures of a 997-generation Porsche 911 Turbo hauling a…trailer caravan in Cogolin, a commune in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France.
