It would be interesting to find out what percentage of high-end sports cars end up in the wrecker, as despite selling in low numbers, it seems like we’re hearing about a crash every other day or so – and that concerns only the ones we learn about on the internet…

The R.I.P. Ferrari 458 Italia pictured here was owned by an unnamed Israeli who reportedly lost control of the mid-engine supercar on his way to the city of Eilat, located at the northern tip of the Red Sea, on the Gulf of Aqaba.

Local reports stated that the police is suspecting that he was “driving too fast and got distracted” sending the Ferrari onto the rocky hillside. Fortunately, the driver was wearing his seat belt, and despite some minor injuries, he was soon released from the hospital he was transferred to after the incident.
