If the first, limited set of official photos (nine, all in all) of the new 991-generation of Porsche’s 911 Turbo and Turbo S Convertibles left you with a thirst for more visuals, then you may want to skip through the break and check out our fresh gallery with 44 pictures of both versions of the drop top model.
Those of you who don’t like clicking on links to learn more about the new 911 Turbo Convertibles, here’s the short story.
Like their metal-top siblings that were unveiled just a few months ago, the two convertible models sport a 3.8-liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 513hp (520PS) on the Turbo, and 552hp (560PS) on the Turbo S, for a 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration of 3.5 and 3.2 seconds respectively, with a common top speed of 318 km/h (198 mph).
As with predecessor models, the Turbo convertibles feature a soft top, which in this case, opens and closes in around 13 seconds, at speeds of up to 50 km/h (31 mph).
Following their debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late November, the 911 Turbo and Turbo S Convertibles will begin to arrive in dealerships around the world.
